I seem to have an addiction to Beechams Powders

My names is Don Stone, and I have to take 7-9 packets of Beechams Powders just to see me through the day. I know it may sound like a strange addiction what with people on here taking Heroin etc, but can anyone help me. Why do I take it? Can I stop? And NO, I don't have a cold. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It may be the Codine in Beechams which is making you take it.

I have just looked on the packet and it says the ingredients is paracetamol (300mg), phenylephrine (5mg) and caffeine (25mg). Maybe its the Caffine thats addictive??
