Min of 50p per unit of Alcohol - Are you sure???

Did anyone read yesterday on the BBC news channel or see on the news about the Government now wanting to make
the cost of alcohol a minimum of 50p per unit of alcohol??

I personally think they are taking the piss and using the hype in price of alcohol as a money pinching, taxing exercise,
and not for any other reasons such as health etc.

WHAT DO YOU THINK???????
