Do you have to stay in these rehab centres or can you go home at weekends etc?
It's just I have a family and kids, and I don't want to go without seeing them.

Hi Darren, there is no point going to a centre and not staying in. If I was able to go home at night I would still be doing gear.

The only way you can get through this is in a centre. If your in for 4 weeks, and it means you are back to normal life afterwards, so be it.

At the end of the day, 4 weeks is nothing. Around 2 weeks of that you will be detoxing anyway. I am in rehab now (5 weeks) and I am glad I did it.

Feel a bit fed up today, but most days are good.

Staying in a centre is fine. You wont do it any other way.

If you don't want to stay, you are not ready to give up. Simple really!!!

Most centres are residential, but they take into account you having kids/family etc and will try to offer support to them too, so they might be able to visit, take part in family therapy etc.

Plus, trust me, your kids will be happier when you get help!
